A Few Accomplishments
Student Information System Implementation
In December 2016 I began investigating Student Information Systems that would allow us to have multiple learning management system integrations to centralize our student information. Over a span of eight months I spearheaded an implementation process that created a paperless application and records system and integrated the new student information system with three learning management systems. The end result was a single system to handle student enrollment, student records, course enrollment, progress monitoring, and automated reporting.
Enterprise Networking
QDA has four physical offices located across the State of Ohio. To ensure staff members have access to their data from any domain PC at any office we use group policy redirection to point users to a centralized storage solution. This ensures that important data is routinely backed up and data leakage is reduced since access is limited to a single storage array. In addition to high redundancy storage, the network is composed of multiple physical servers hosting virtual machines with Hyper-V. These virtual machines are configured to replicate to other servers in the building and extended replication is used to replicate from one building to another. This ensures that in the case of a disaster at our main office we would be to resume operations quickly from a branch office.
